NEVERWAY WIKI · ACHIEVEMENTS
Every unlock condition, what it gives you, and the honest tip for each one — including the hidden ones that do not tell you what they want.
Neverway achievements are mostly about repetition rather than skill. A handful track combat mastery, a few track the story, and the majority track how much of the farm and the island you have actually used. That is good news, because many of them unlock incidentally while you are following the normal routine rather than while you are trying to farm them.
Most achievements award a cosmetic unlock — a new outfit for Fiona, a farm decoration, a title on your profile — while a smaller number grant permanent mechanical bonuses such as extra inventory space or a starting upgrade. The mechanical ones are worth planning around; the cosmetics are worth chasing once the base game is done.
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| First Furrow | Plant your first crop seed | Free — you are planting seeds on day one anyway |
| Green Thumb | Harvest 25 crops in total | Auto-triggers while you farm normally |
| Market Gardener | Grow and sell 5 different crop types | Rotate your fields rather than planting one crop repeatedly |
| Chef de Montgom | Cook 30 dishes | Batch-cook in the evening block; five meals per session |
| Michelin Disaster | Cook one dish that fails | Cook a recipe with a missing or wrong ingredient |
| Farming Licence | Upgrade the farm plot area twice | Do this before expanding the house instead |
| Fertile Ground | Keep every plot planted for 10 consecutive days | Replant immediately after harvesting, before sleeping |
| Sea Bounty | Catch 50 fish | Fishing has the best time-to-value of any early activity |
| Trophy Wall | Catch one of every fish species | Check the water conditions; species spawn by time of day |
| Homestead | Fully upgrade the crafting bench | Ties into the walkthrough's bench upgrade plan |
Combat achievements are the ones people miss, because they often require doing something that is tactically bad — using a specific weapon, fighting with no armour, or defeating a creature in a single hit.
Friendship achievements are gated behind time, not difficulty. Because the relationship bar advances on interactions, the fastest route is talking to the same character on a consistent schedule and gifting what they mention in dialogue rather than what is most valuable.
| Achievement | Unlock condition | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Island Neighbour | Reach friendship with any islander | Talk to Cosmo or Luna first — their quests give better daily rewards |
| Well Connected | Reach friendship with 5 islanders | Space visits out; do not burn a whole block on one character |
| Trusted Friend | Max out friendship with any single character | Keep gifting the requested item type every visit |
| Good Company | Unlock a combat ability through friendship | Abilities unlock at friendship tiers, not at story milestones |
| Romantic | Begin a romance with an eligible islander | Requires high friendship first and the right story flags |
| Heart of the Island | Complete all romanceable routes | Plan for multiple playthroughs — routes conflict |
| Doctor's Assistant | Complete Aurora's quest chain | The chain unlocks healing support and island lore |
| Big Fish | Get a bulk-buy discount from Cosmo | Friendship tier plus a crafted item gifted to him |
These do not display their condition in the menu, so plan them in advance. All of them are confirmed by the community to trigger on the actions described — there is no hidden input sequence beyond the listed behaviour.
Use the beginner walkthrough to get the first week in order, the survival tips guide to stop wasting days, and the bestiary to hunt down the specific creatures that unlock the combat achievements.
